Have a Great Summer

Dear 9th Graders,
Congratulations on making it through the middle school relatively unscathed. I truly enjoyed each and every one of you this year. I wish you all the best over the next four years at the high school. Remember, your high school years really matter in so many significant ways. Enjoy them, but also remember to work hard. It is your high school years that colleges and future employers will be looking closely at. Doing well in high school could mean not only getting into a good college, but also could earn you some scholarships. Take it from someone who owes over $30,000 in college loans, you want to find a balance between having fun and getting your work done. Your high school experiences will be what you make them. You can go so far in your life or you can go no where- the choice is yours. Work hard. Have fun. Do what is best for YOU. Surround yourself with good friends and good people. Remember that I believe in you, but you must believe in yourself and want to do well. If you truly want something, and are willing to work hard for it, you can have just about anything. If there is ever anything you need, my door is always open!

Thank you for a great year. Come back and visit any time. Have a great summer!!!
