They payed all war debts including the Allies, and they couldn't have a huge army. I don't think WWII could have been prevented unless Germany didn't start attacking everyone. After Germany attacked Poland, there was no choice but another world war. I do believe America was right for staying out of the war at first because we were coming out of a huge depression. We didn't want to spend more money than we had to. The U.S.A. joined the war once Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. The U.S.A. would have stayed out of the war because they had really no reason to join. As soon as somebody tries to attack America though, war will come.

ReplyDeleteAmerica was right to stay neutral at the beginning of the war because if they had not they would have been easily targeted by Germany, Japan and Italy. If they had not stayed neutral there would have been no chance in victory in the war. The event that caused the United States to join the war was the bombing of Pear Harbor. This is when Japan launched a blitz attack on the United States Pear Harbor and killed thousands of soldiers and citizens. I think somehow the United States would have found a reason to join the war if the bombing of Pear Harbor had not have occurred. The United States was already beginning to make peace plans for the war.
I don't agree with you when you say that the war would have been lost for the Allies if the US joined earlier. When WW2 was still starting and the League of Nations did nothing but had them sign treaties and agreements I feel that if the US had actually done something to stop the attacks before it turned into a war then we may not have prevented the whole thing but make it a much less devastating part of history. That is just my opinion on the matter though, it is possible that if we had done that then we would have been unprepared for the war and been easily beaten and not able to help later on like we did.

Another part of the Treaty of Versailles is that Germany had to give back all of the land that Gremany took over, they also had to downsize their military. DeleteThere were several causes of WW2. I think the most major would be the Treaty of Versailles. This put Hitler in power and other corrupt leaders like him. To prevent the war, Europe could have chosen a less harsh punishment for Germany, because after all they were not the cause of WW1. I think if they had a fair consequence, the war would never had happened.

One major cause of WWII was the Treaty of Versailles. This was a cause because it led to the rise of Hitler. He promised that if he was elected, he would bring Germany back to it's glory days. Also, I do believe that America had a right to stay neutral at the beginning of the war. The event that got America into the war was the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I think that America would've eventually gotten involved in the war even if Pearl Harbor didn't happen.

They thought that their race was the best among anyone. Hitler even thought that you had to have blond hair and blue eyes, weren't a jew and had no disability's to fit his Aryan race. Hitler was put into power because he promised revenge for the Treaty of Versilles. I think that if The League of Nations had any power to stop things that were going on before they had gotten worse it could have possibly been prevented. I think the United States should have either come out and been honest about siding with the Allies or not have given out money to anyone if they were really trying to be nuetral. This treaty made people angry, as the Japanese and Italians gained no land, and the Germans were blamed for a war they did not start. Germany also lost much wealth, land, and military prowess. This allowed Benito Mussolini to come into power in Italy, Hideki Tojo in Japan, and most importantly, Adolph Hitler in Germany.

As Hitler came into power, more and more people agreed with his powerful speeches. I think war was inevitable at this point; nothing could stop World War II from happening. I think it was a good thing to stay isolated for as long as they did for they saved a lot of citizens and money doing so. The cause of American entrance in World War II was the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan. I don't think the US would've joined the war if that had not happened because they were on a strict isolation policy.

One cause of WW2 is Germany's resentment of the Treaty we made to end WW1. The treaty was unfair and made Germany take the blame, pay for the war, didn't let them join the League of Nations and made them give away land. Doing more when countries were attacking and being attacked then making the attackers sign worthless papers and treating Germany better after the first war could have maybe not stop the war from happening but make it less devastating. The bombing of Perl Harbor on December 7th 1941 was the cause for the U.S to join the war on the Allies side. I don't think it was right for the Unites States to join the war so late and to try and stay neutral during the war was the right thing for us to do. If we had tried to help defending places being attacked the war might not have escalated to such a huge conflict or have been able to get so serious. If we helped ward of Germany's attacks for more land and Japan's attacks on China instead of just waiting for them to be done we might have been able to stop them before it got so serious.

ReplyDeletethe main causes of world war two was Germany's reaction to the treaty of Versailles and the lack of action taken by other nations to stop it. the treaty of Versailles punished Germany and blamed them and them alone for the breakout of world war one. this angered Germany and caused leaders to rise such as Hitler. once Hitler became the ruler of the people and military, he decided to take over the world. he kept on attacking smaller regions which strengthened Germany as well as their military. other nations just decide to let it go and do absolutely nothing to stop him. he continued to gain land with no obstacles until Germany invaded Poland. this case Europe still go back to Europe to hide but it was a good idea. then once Germany invaded Europe they were more prepared. at the same time japan attacked china for their resources and soon joined Germany. then the war spread. america was not part of the war until later on. they had a great idea of staying neutral to avoid the war they decide to blockade japan because they were the enemy. this cause japan to fight back which lead to pearl harbor causing the us to finally join the war. if the event did not occur there is a chance the us would have not joined the war unless another event occurred. as tragic as pearl harbor was it did cause the us to join the war which may seem bad but without them Germany might have succeeded in taking over the world. before the official war stated and Germany was taking over smaller nations, there was a lot people could have done to stop him and prevent the war. instead of reacting and fighting back which would have prevented the war, other nations just buried their heads in the sand and hoped it would go away. they were cowards and by the time they fought back, Germany was too powerful. eventually, the allied powers were able to defeat Germany and japan but with great consequences. millions of innocent people died and all because no one was able to face reality and stand up for the truth.

Europe was not doing well an if the us didn't join, Germany would have most likely conquered the and then the us. it a good thing the us did join but if they were to have joined in the beginning, they could have stopped Germany sooner and saved many lives. the us should have looked toward the future and what would happening if they dint join rather than waiting until a tragedy occurred. during pearl harbor many soldiers lives were lost which greatly impacted the us. this did however boost their morale but it weakened their navy. if the us joined in the beginning of the war, chances are that Germany would have been sooner defeated saving massive amounts of currency lost as well as lives.
